Emma is from my Ned/Piper litter and is co-owned with Jill Wilkinson. Pictured above at
2 years of age.
Following a 2 year break from the show ring due an horrific leg injury Emma returned in Aug 2008 to take the ring by storm and complete her Aust Champ title in style winning the last 5 Best of Breeds including the Gundog Show and Bitch CC at the Royal Hobart Show.
At the TTGRC Champ show under breed specialist Beryl Liggins from the UK, Emma was placed 2nd in State Bred class - here is her critique:
"Also with so much quality. Feminine head with lovely expression excels in neck and shoulders, straight front, well balanced body with level topline. Strong quarters which she used to move out well.
On Sat 8th Sept 2007 Emma came 2nd in Intermediate class at the TGRC Champ show under Henric Fryckstrand: her critique: "Scopey bitch who is very elegant and carries a lovely coat. Appealing head and expression, lovely eyes. Good neck which is well set on. Would prefer more lay back of shoulder and more forechest. Excellent bone and feet, long in loin. Good ribs, needs more depth. Excellent level back when standing. Good angulation in the rear. Moves with good extension and drive. Well shown.
She was placed 3rd in a strong Puppy bitch Class at the 6th National held in Hobart on Sun 19th Nov 2006, judge Mr Peter Mills UK; she was also in the winning Sire and Progeny Team.
Emma won Best Baby Puppy in Show on Sat 8th April under Mr Guy Spagnolo world renowned Gundog and Labrador Specialist!!!
...then followed that up with another Best Baby in Group and Show on Sat 20th May at the Huon and Channel Kennel Club show under Mrs Edwards from Qld.
On Sat 15th July Emma was awarded her first CC (20 pts)complete with Best of Breed at only 7 months of age!!! Judge was Mrs L Brand from NSW also awarded her Best Puppy in the GUndog Group. She followed this up with a Res BCC, Runner Up BOB and another Puppy in Group on Sat 29th July under Gundog judge Ms Karen Ellis-Wickham.
Sat 12th Aug saw Emma win another CC with Runner Up Best of Breed from the Minor Puppy Class, under Mr Stoate from Victoria.
